There are some serious water shortages going on in California and Volvo Cars in the US have in a recently launched Instagram campaign trying to do some corporate branding while reducing water usage.
In the campaign Instagram users are to save water by letting their car go without a wash, then writing #drivingdirty on their car then posting it on Instagram.
It’s a rather interesting campaign as it plays on Volvo quality, responsibility and a common movement. So far these posts are some of the results, it remains to be seen if it takes off:
